New from The Guildfordian this week is a limited edition print featuring a distinctive black and white photograph of The Angel Hotel, Guildford.

The Angel Hotel is a historic hostelry found mid-way along Guildford's famous High Street. The building's stunning monochrome facade declares its earlier purpose as a Posting House and Livery Stables. Today, the hospitality continues as a boutique hotel and entertainment space, notably The Fallen Angel cabaret bar, and Angel Gate is home to Bill's restaurant and some lovely independents.

Andrew Spybey's "straight on" photograph of the facade of The Angel Hotel captures the solidity, fine detail and symmetry of the architecture, animated by two passers-by going about their business. The black and white treatment emphasises and celebrates the distinctive monochrome signature of the building.

The print is available in two sizes, a limted edition of 25 in 17" x 12" format and an edition of 10 in the larger 23" x 17" format, both landscape. You can also chose between print only, ready for you to mount and frame at home, or professionally mounted in a black wood frame, ready to hang. Every print is digitally signed by the photographer and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity containing signature and edition number.

The prints are professionally produced on 308gsm Hahnemüle Photorag archival art paper, giving a luxurious, high quality finish. Frames are solid wood from sustainable sources, manufactured to high standards. With a narrow white border, your print will be safely sent by tracked delivery in sustainable packaging, ready for you to enjoy at home.
