Taken on a gloriously sunny July day by Andrew Spybey, the photo captures a stunning perspective looking down the High Street towards the distant green fields of The Mount, with the iconic Guildhall clock to the right and Tunsgate arch to the left. Drama is added by the contrast between the deep blue sky and the dark granite setts of the High Street. A solo figure can be seen walking away from the lens, adding to the heightened sense of perspective.
